Mira Vista Apartments is a member of the California Smokefree Apartment Registry, California Apartment Association, National Apartment Association, Atascadero Chamber of Commerce and a Certified Atascadero Crime Free Multi-Housing Provider since 2006.

Rental eligibility is based upon verification of identity, employment, qualifying income, good rental history and good credit history.
A completed application and application fee of $20 is required for all persons 18 years and older who will be residing in the unit. The non-refundable fee is required of each applicant before the application will be processed. The fee covers the cost of the credit check, staff time, phone/fax charges and tenant screening services which includes checking public civil and criminal records.
Rental requirements:
1) Employment verifiable by phone and submitted documents.
2) Income must be approximately 3 times the amount of the rent.
3) Minimum of four years good rental history.
4) No evictions.
5) No conviction for any crime that involved an offense against property, persons, government officials, or that involved firearms, illegal drugs, criminal street gang activity or sex crimes.
6) No smoking.
Documentation and fee requirements:
1) Valid Government Issued Photo I.D.
2) Copy of pay stub or W2 or 1099
3) Completed Rental/Credit Application for each person 18 years and older who will be occupying the premises.
4) A $20.00 non-refundable application processing fee for each applicant by check or money order only. Online application fee payments by Pay Pal only.

Any false information submitted on an application will be cause for automatic denial.
Our privacy policy: All information obtained is kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of determining rental eligibility.
Reservation deposit of $250.00 is required to hold an apartment.
A $50 fee will be charged for cancellation of reservation deposit before move in.
Mira Vista Apartments does not participate in the Section 8 Housing Program.
